We are working with a Britain-based commercial property portal that enables prospective renters to connect with property agents, surveyors and business brokers. They are looking for a DevOps Engineer who will contribute towards the growth and improvement of DevOps tooling and culture of the organisation.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Peruse the current infrastructure and come up with a new architecture that is containerised
- Build an effective CI/CD pipeline for existing applications
- Setup and configure monitoring
- Train the development teams on DevOps best practices
What You'll Bring to the Role:
- Robust in Linux administration skills
- Robust networking skills
- Deep knowledge of Docker ecosystem
- Hands-on experience with Docker Swarm and related tooling
- Demonstrable experience in running a complete Delivery cycle
Knowledge and experience in the following:
- Infrastructure As Code
- Containerisation (Docker)
- Container Orchestration Systems (Docker Swarm/ Kubernetes)
- Demonstrable experience in the software development lifecycle
- Strong knowledge of security measures and best practices
Strong scripting with the following:
- Shell
- Python
- Ruby
- GO
- Overseeing tools setup and configuration
- Team player with excellent interpersonal skills
Desirable skills:
- Startup experience
- ELK stack
- SonarQube
- RabbitMQ
- Redis
- Git
