Job Description:
Position Overview: As a DevOps Engineer, you will have the opportunity to shape the operational and technical aspects of modern software delivery for our customers. You will be responsible for designing deployment and testing architectures, setting up robust platforms, and managing the underlying infrastructure to empower our development teams to excel. In this role, you will work closely with agile teams, focusing on cross-functional aspects such as scalability, observability, security, and resilience, to ensure the health of our infrastructure throughout its lifecycle. This position also offers the potential for growth into a Software Architect role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement deployment and testing architectures to support software delivery.
- Set up and manage infrastructure to create robust and scalable development platforms.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines to streamline the software delivery process.
- Utilise Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles, with a focus on Terraform.
- Develop expertise in at least one general-purpose programming language.
- Pay attention to cross-functional aspects, including scalability, observability, security, and resilience.
- Continuously improve and optimize the infrastructure lifecycle.
