Role: Platform Security Engineer
Salary: Up to £120k (negotiable for exceptional candidates)
Location: London (1-2 days a week)

Work collaboratively with a diverse team to elevate security, stability, scalability, and efficiency, while actively contributing to our pursuit of ISO 27001 compliance. This position extends beyond the engineering department, encompassing strategy, implementation, and cross-functional teamwork. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with leaders across various business functions (Product, Engineering, Legal, IT, etc.) to shape the security direction, provide strategic guidance, offer tooling advice, and advocate for secure engineering practices.
- Implementing DevSecOps techniques and tools, such as threat modeling, “shift left” methodologies, static analysis, dynamic analysis, policy as code, software supply chain security, tamper-proof audit trails, etc.
- Driving day-to-day tactical enhancements, with a primary focus on the security domain.
- Demonstrating familiarity with a range of security tools and providing expert advice on the most suitable options based on security objectives, technological environment, and business context. These tools may encompass SIEM, SAST, DAST, vulnerability management, etc., and may involve a combination of open-source and commercial components.
