As part of this initiative, we are implementing Salesforce CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) to streamline our sales operations.
Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Technical Architect with expertise in CPQ implementation to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing Salesforce solutions that align with our business objectives. This role requires deep technical knowledge of Salesforce CPQ, strong analytical skills, and the ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architectural Design: Lead the design and architecture of Salesforce CPQ solutions to meet business requirements and improve sales processes.
- Implementation: Oversee the implementation of Salesforce CPQ, including configuration, customization, and integration with other systems.
- Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams, ensuring best practices and standards are followed.
- Requirement Analysis: Work closely with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into technical specifications.
- Integration: Design and implement integrations between Salesforce CPQ and other enterprise systems, ensuring seamless data flow and process automation.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct code reviews, ensure quality standards, and perform testing to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, design specifications, and user guides.
- Troubleshooting: Identify, analyze, and resolve technical issues and bugs in a timely manner.
- Training: Provide training and support to end-users and other team members on Salesforce CPQ functionalities and best practices.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest Salesforce features, enhancements, and industry trends to recommend and implement continuous improvements.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Salesforce Technical Architect, with at least 3 years focused on Salesforce CPQ implementations.
- Certifications: Salesforce Certified Technical Architect, Salesforce Certified CPQ Specialist, or other relevant certifications.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Salesforce platform, including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning components, and SOQL.
- Extensive experience with Salesforce CPQ configuration, customization, and integration.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce data model, security, and sharing rules.
- Experience with web services, APIs, and middleware solutions.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
