Senior Cloud Security Engineer (GCP)
Location: Remote (Candidates must be based in the US, excluding California, New York, and Vermont)

Are you an experienced Cloud Security Engineer with a passion for Google Cloud Platform (GCP)? Key Responsibilities:
- Architect, deploy, and operate secure cloud infrastructure tailored to evolving business needs.
- Develop and maintain secure, resilient cloud processes while ensuring compliance with established privacy and security frameworks
- Implement strong identity and access management (IAM) controls to protect sensitive health data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to guide secure application deployment across GCP.
- Lead remediation efforts following security assessments, ensuring a proactive approach to emerging threats.
- Monitor the security posture and provide continuous improvement recommendations.
- Enjoy significant ownership and autonomy in establishing new cloud operations, moving beyond business as usual to create innovative solutions.
What We Are Looking For:
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 2 years focused on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Strong background in Linux and Windows environments, along with expertise in cloud networking architecture.
- Familiarity with tools such as Terraform, Git, Jenkins, and Chef to support development processes.
- Experience with security solutions and frameworks (e.g., CrowdStrike, Tenable, HIPAA, NIST).
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Ruby, or PowerShell to automate processes and enhance security.
- Preferred: CCSP, CISSP, or GCP certification.
