Job Title: SRE Manager – Europe
Location: London (1-2 days a month)
Salary: Up to £125k + RSUs
About the Role: We’re looking for an experienced SRE Manager to lead and grow our European Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team. This role is critical for ensuring the availability, scalability, and reliability of our infrastructure and platforms, and will involve taking on global SRE responsibilities as needed. You’ll play a key role in improving processes, mentoring team members, and driving automation across our systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Lead the European SRE team, overseeing 6 permanent direct reports. You will also handle delegated responsibilities for the global SRE function (22 direct reports) when the Global SRE Manager is unavailable.
- Technical Oversight: Ensure the infrastructure, monitoring, availability, and scalability of all systems and platforms supported by the Global SRE team within Europe.
- Team Development: Mentor and coach team members to support individual growth and prepare candidates for engineering promotion boards, achieving a perfect track record of success.
- Incident & Stakeholder Management: Coordinate European Incident Response for high-priority incidents and manage stakeholder relationships.
