MLOps Sales Engineer (LLM) – SaaS – USA Remote

About the Position:
As an MLOps Engineer, you will work fully remotely within the USA, acting as the primary technical liaison for prospective clients and key customer accounts. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver technical solutions and ensure product fit during evaluations and onboarding. Your role will be instrumental in building trust in our platform, which will enhance our sales and customer success initiatives. You will guide pre-sales technical relationships, conduct demos, identify customer concerns, and propose innovative solutions to their challenges. Additionally, you will provide invaluable feedback to product and engineering teams regarding customer needs and pain points that can influence future developments.
We’re looking for someone who possesses both technical expertise and strong relationship-building skills. You'll feel equally at home discussing technical capabilities with C-level executives and collaborating closely with the data science and DevOps teams of our clients.

Who You Are:

  • A Sales/Solutions Engineer or Customer Success Engineer with experience in MLOps platforms.
  • A Data Science consultant or Data Scientist eager to transition into a customer-facing role with sales responsibilities.
  • A Sales Engineer from a technical SaaS background looking to leverage your skills in an MLOps environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with sales teams to illustrate the benefits of the AI platform to prospective clients.
  • Lead technical demonstrations, showcasing various use cases from time series forecasting to LLM fine-tuning.
  • Support the technical sales evaluation process, managing integrations and offering tailored solutions.
  • Create relevant code examples and integration tutorials using ML/LLM frameworks.
  • Address customer technical objections and develop strategies to resolve any challenges.
  • Gather and document technical requirements from clients, ensuring the platform meets their unique needs.
  • Work alongside Marketing to produce relevant articles, tutorials, and presentations catered to technical and business audiences.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering to relay market feedback that shapes the product roadmap.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Over 3 years of experience in applied machine learning and software engineering.
  • Proven proficiency in Python and familiarity with ML frameworks (e.g., Keras, PyTorch, TensorFlow).
  • Solid understanding of the LLM development process and various models.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively present technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Experience in building production-grade ML systems is a plus.
