Title: Senior Platform Engineer, DevEx team

About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Developer Experience (DevEx) focused Engineer to design, implement, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and development tooling. This role will play a critical part in enabling internal teams with self-service capabilities, enhancing security practices, and optimizing software delivery workflows.
Key Responsibilities

  • CI/CD Pipeline Development: Design, implement, and continuously maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines and templates using GitLab CI, ensuring efficient infrastructure management for runner execution.
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Enable internal development teams by providing self-service capabilities 
  • Security & Compliance: Strengthen software security by integrating Snyk into the software development lifecycle, proactively identifying and mitigating vulnerabilities.
  • Artifact Management: Provision and manage JFrog Artifactory as a centralized repository for binary artifacts, Docker images, Helm charts, and other build components.
  • Documentation & Enablement: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, guides, and tutorials to support best practices, troubleshooting, and efficient use of CI/CD, security scanning, infrastructure provisioning, and artifact management.
  • Monitoring & Alerting: Establish monitoring and alerting systems to track CI/CD performance, security scans, infrastructure resources, and artifact repositories, ensuring rapid issue detection and resolution.

Key Requirements

  • Proven experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI or similar tools.
  • Strong knowledge of AWS, including hands-on experience with self-service provisioning.
  • Experience integrating security tools like Snyk into the software development lifecycle.
  • Expertise in JFrog Artifactory or other artifact repositories for managing build artifacts and dependencies.
  • Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar languages for automation.
  • Experience with monitoring tools and alerting systems for CI/CD and infrastructure health.
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills to support internal teams with best practices and troubleshooting.

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with Helm, Docker, Kubernetes, and other cloud-native technologies.
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
