Data Scientist
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist with a strong foundation in statistical modelling to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about leveraging data to
drive business decisions and product improvements. You will play a crucial role in designing and conducting statistical tests to measure the performance of our AI products and overall business success. Occasionally also contribute on developing AI models for
products.
We need a strong candidate to ensure the Company wide AI efforts and development Data driven.
Responsibilities:
• Develop KPIs and strategy on assessing the performance of the whole companies AI
and BI initiatives
• Statistical Modeling: Develop and implement advanced statistical models to
analyze complex datasets and extract meaningful insights.
• Create guidelines/documentation for all company wide AI/BI projects
• AI Ethics, Bias and Fairness validation: Create and challenge AI products and Design
a way assess the Ethical side, Bias Fairness of the models and guide the DS teams
to continue on it
• Train and build Machine learning / Deep Learning models
• Experiment Design: Design and execute rigorous A/B tests and other statistical
experiments to evaluate the impact of product features and marketing campaigns.
• KPI Definition: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define key performance
indicators (KPIs) that align with business objectives.
• Data Analysis: Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and
opportunities for optimization.
• Model Validation: Rigorously validate and refine statistical models to ensure
accuracy and reliability.
• Data Visualization: Create clear and compelling data visualizations to communicate
findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Collaboration: Work closely with data engineers, product managers, and other
stakeholders to translate business problems into data-driven solutions.
• Guide data science teams on the AI testing approaches and help them build the
experiments.
• Stay Updated: Keep abreast of the latest advancements in data science, machine
learning, and statistical modeling.
Qualifications:
• Advanced degree (Master’s or Ph.D.) in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science,
or a related field.
• Proven experience in statistical modeling, including hypothesis testing, regression
analysis, time series analysis, and experimental design.
• Strong programming skills in Python (Pandas, NumPy, SciPy, Scikit-learn) and
statistical software (R, SAS, SPSS).
• Proficiency in data mining techniques, machine learning algorithms, and data
visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• A passion for data and a desire to drive data-driven decision-making.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with A/B testing and other experimentation methodologies.
• Knowledge of machine learning techniques, such as deep learning and natural
language processing.
• Experience with any cloud-based data platforms (preferred cloud – GCP)
